CROWN AND ANCHOR Crown and Anchor is a traditional dice game, made popular by British sailors in the 18th century. It’s an easy to play game, given a traditional seafaring look at online casinos such as Ladbrokes, and Casino LaVida. The aim of Crown and Anchor is to match the symbols that you have bet on, to the symbols on three dice, which unlike normal dice, have the four playing card suits, (Club, Spades etc,), on four of the sides, and the other two sides have a Crown or Anchor on them.
On the left of the playing screen is a betting area, which shows the six symbols on a grid, choose your stake amount, and click on your chosen symbol. You can choose just one, or several at a time, then click ‘Play’, and the three dice will be rolled onto a barrel. You win, depending on how many dice match the symbols you have bet on. One match wins at 1 : 1, two matches wins at 2 : 1, and three matches wins at 3 : 1.
That it really, a very simple, but engaging game, which gives you a number of betting options, and quick results. There is no real strategy to playing Crown and Anchor, as the more symbols you bet on, the higher your stake, but it’s fun to experiment with different betting patterns, and we think Crown and Anchor should be a more highly promoted game. |
