This is a simplified version of the classic Poker game, where hands are made up of just three cards. To start the game, the player makes an Ante bet. Three cards are dealt face down to the Dealer, and face up to the Player.

You then need to decide if you want to Play, or Fold. If you choose to Play, a second bet is made, ( the Play bet), and the Dealers cards are revealed to determine the outcome of the game. An optional Pair plus bet can be made if the Player believes they will get a Pair or better, and this pays out if you get a Pair or better, irrespective of the Dealers hand.

Hands are ranked as follows -

Straight Flush - 3 cards of the same suit, in sequence. eg- 9, 10, J

3 of a kind - 3 cards of the same rank, eg - 5, 5, 5.

Straight - 3 cards in sequence, different suits. eg - 3S, 4C, 5D.

Flush - 3 cards of the same suit. eg - A, Q, 9 of Spades.

Pair - 2 cards of the same rank, 1 of a different rank. eg - K, K, 7.

Payouts for the Ante, and Play bets are as follows. Note that the Dealer must have a Queen or better to qualify.

If Dealer does not qualify - Ante wins 1/1. Play bet is a Push

If Dealer qualifies, and Player wins - Ante wins 1/1. Play bet wins 1/1

If dealer qulifies and Player ties - Ante and Play are a Push.

If Dealer qualifies and Player loses - Ante and Play bets are lost.
